J.Marie & Associates Leadership Retreat
What’s the “So What?” of this?
Refill your Cup and Reinvigorate your Focus
Wednesday, July 29 - Sunday, August 2, 2026
Location: Mission, British Columbia, BC
Just over an hour from the Peace Arch border crossing or the Vancouver airport
I've lost track of the number of times clients and colleagues have said something along the lines of: "Not only do you help me think better, you bring a sense of clarity and calm into every interaction. I wish I could spend more time with you!" -- Well, now you can!
J.Marie & Associates is unveiling an inaugural 5 day / 4 night leadership retreat. Give yourself the gift of time and space to reflect, recharge, and reconnect with your inner knowing.
Join our founder and principal, J.Marie, for a deep dive into the challenge of your choice in a luxurious log cabin nestled in the tranquil forests of beautiful Mission, British Columbia. Bring your personal challenge, goal, leadership question, transition issue, or professional “problem of practice.” We’ll support you with the perfect balance of workshop content, thoughtful dialogue, personal reflection, recreation, and rest to dig deep and come out refreshed, with clarity and renewed energy for what’s ahead.
Who is this for?
Those of you who have dedicated yourselves to leadership and/or public service.
Anyone who feels scattered or overwhelmed and in need of an opportunity to reset, refocus, and build clarity about a challenge ahead.
We will start with an opportunity for you to get crystal clear about your purpose and focus for the retreat. Over the span of our time together, we'll identify or revisit your core values as a person and leader. We’ll discuss the distractions that pull you off course, and practice techniques to strengthen your focus and present moment awareness. Before we’re done, you’ll receive support as you identify next steps and commit yourself to an effective way forward.
You’ll also have the opportunity to experience a day of supported silence. Whether you already know the power of silence as a personal growth strategy or are new to its benefits, J.Marie will meet you where you’re at and give you the personal care and attention you need so that you are well-supported throughout the experience. You’ll have time to integrate your observations and insights so you leave feeling supercharged and ready to bring renewed clarity and focus to your life and leadership.
Nourishing and tasty foods will fuel you throughout the retreat and you’ll have opportunities for recreation and restoration with forest trails, billiards, outdoor oversized chess, a hot tub overlooking a pond, and cozy nooks galore!
Registration will be capped at eight to ten participants so you are assured to receive the attention and space you need to do your best reflection and thinking.
